For the next 18 months we’ll be celebrating the 100th anniversary of the St. Clair Streetcar and the Wychwood carhouse with a series of events focused on our heritage, arts and the community.
September 14-15, 2013 - History Alive on St. Clair
Ride historic streetcars, participate in historic tours, join a scavenger hunt and more. In partnership with the TTC and local Business Improvement Areas.
September 10-15, 2013 - Historic Exhibit (Barn 2)
A visual depiction of the impact of the St. Clair streetcar on our community over the past 100 years.
September 10-15, 2013 - Centennial inspired Programming throughout the Barns, in partnership with Barns tenants.
September 10-22, 2013 - Historic Advertising Exhibit (Community Gallery) in partnership with the TTC.
September 2013 - Community History Website and Mobile App launch.
September 2013 - Call for Artists
An invitation to local secondary and post-secondary students to participate in a juried art exhibit about “The Evolving St. Clair West Community”.
April 4, 2014 - Birthday Gala
A celebratory fundraiser benefitting the WBCA on the 100th anniversary of the public opening of the Wychwood carhouse.
April 4-13, 2014 - Art Exhibit
A juried show of secondary and post secondary students on the theme: “The Evolving St. Clair West Community”.
Spring 2014 - Community Birthday Celebration
A fun free community event that will incorporate art by local elementary school children.
