Open every Saturday from 8 a.m. to 12 pm

The Stop’s Farmers’ Market, named Toronto’s best Farmers’ Market by NOW magazine, amazes every week with its array of tasty, seasonal Ontario food. The market supports local agriculture by encouraging our farmers to grow as sustainably as possible, and many of our farms are certified organic. All of our non-farmer vendors shop for their ingredients from the market. What you’ll find year-round is honest, good food whose production causes as little environmental damage as possible and where everyone involved in its growing and distribution makes a living wage. There’s also great music, community information booths, and lots of brilliant chefs making special treats every week.

The Stop’s Market Cafe is open during the same hours as the farmers’ market and serves healthy soups, sandwiches and desserts. Look for it in the Green Barn (Barn 4) every Saturday.

For more information about the market contact Cookie Roscoe at gbmarket@thestop.org or 416 651 7867 ext. 24.

Storytelling Toronto happens every Saturday from 10am – 12pm. All are welcome to listen to stories, tell stories of their own and just join in some interesting talk about how stories affect our lives.  This is a multi-age event. Family audiences welcome. Look for the blue tent outdoors in the summer  months, or the red canopy at the office of Storytelling Toronto in the winter.

    Hello,

I would like to know if there are generic gift cards available? One that can be used at the farmer’s market or the theatre? I would like to purchase a gift for someone and think they would really enjoy the amenities there.

    Thank you.

    Irit

Hi Irit, Thanks for your question! Unfortunately we do not have gift cards available, but that is a great idea!

Would you please tell me which building the vintage shows are in and where the farmers market is exactly? I’ve never attended there, and live in the Aurora area, but would like to attend the vintage shows and the Saturday farmers markets without spending additional time wondering where each were?? Thank you

Hi Linda, The vintage shows and the Farmers’ Market are in Barn #2, but after May 24th, the Market moves outside. You can’t miss it!
